Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Instrument Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the planning and execution of instrumentation projects within the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time position requires 3-5 years of experience in project planning and instrumentation engineering, with strong analytical and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a Planning Instrument Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing detailed project plans for instrumentation and control systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Coordinating with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to meet project timelines.
- Preparing and maintaining project schedules using advanced planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or delays.
- Providing technical support for instrumentation systems, including calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
- Generating reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in project planning and instrumentation engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards (API, ISA, ANSI).
- Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- Graduation/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a plus.
