Our client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Planning Lead – Piping to join their dynamic team.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Lead – Piping to oversee and manage piping planning activities for large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in piping planning within the construction industry and a strong background in project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed piping project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present planning reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage resource allocation and optimize piping workflows for efficiency.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to align schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in piping planning within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale piping projects.
• Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and construction methodologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.
• Experience working in the Middle East/GCC region.
• Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ASTM, API).
