Key Responsibilities

As our Planning Manager – Civil-Mech, you will play a critical role in ensuring project success through meticulous planning and coordination. Your primary duties will include:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project for civil and mechanical construction projects
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to establish realistic timelines and milestones
• Monitor project progress against baselines, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures
• Lead the planning team in preparing method statements, resource allocation plans, and progress reports
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies for potential schedule impacts
• Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Coordinate with procurement teams to align material deliveries with project timelines
• Implement earned value management systems to track project performance metrics
• Review contractor schedules and progress reports for accuracy and compliance
• Facilit project planning meetings and provide technical guidance on scheduling matters
• Ensure all planning activities comply with company standards and client requirements
• Develop and maintain project documentation including baseline schedules, progress measurements, and delay analyses

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in construction planning, specifically in civil and mechanical projects
• Proven experience in planning management roles within the construction industry
• Extensive background in managing large-scale construction projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software
• Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies for civil and mechanical works
• Strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes
• Experience with earned value management systems and performance metrics
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards
• Proficiency in project reporting and documentation procedures
