Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager – Civil/Mech to oversee and manage project planning activities for our high-profile ARAMCO Oil & Gas Construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of expertise in civil and mechanical project planning, scheduling, and resource management within the construction sector.
This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with project management tools to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for civil and mechanical construction activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align project timelines.
- Monitor progress and identify potential delays, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ARAMCO project standards and industry regulations.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead project planning meetings and provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Use project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) for scheduling and forecasting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil and mechanical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 5-10 years in Oil & Gas Construction project planning.
- Prior experience working on ARAMCO or Middle East projects.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role located in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, with involvement in high-stakes construction projects for Saudi ARAMCO. The position may require occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Candidates must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia and adhere to local labor regulations.
