Job Description: PLANT (PMV) ENGINEER

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PLANT (PMV) ENGINEER to join our Operations team in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time position within the Oil & Gas Construction sector, ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in fleet management and preventive maintenance. The role involves overseeing plant machinery, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles (PMV) to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Oversee fleet management, including scheduling repairs, inspections, and replacements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to source spare parts and equipment.
• Train and supervise maintenance teams to uphold high operational standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and generate reports for management review.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs and upgrades.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in fleet management or preventive maintenance are advantageous.

Experience & Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in plant engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and diagnostic tools.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Work Environment & Location
