PLANT (PMV) GENERAL FOREMAN

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced PLANT (PMV) GENERAL FOREMAN to oversee plant and machinery operations in our Oil & Gas Construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of leadership experience, ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, and efficient project execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, offering a competitive salary of 15-20 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage plant and PMV (Powered Mobile Vehicle) operations on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet deadlines.
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and report malfunctions.
• Lead a team of operators and technicians, providing guidance and training.
• Prepare daily progress reports and documentation for management review.
• Optimize resource allocation to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams in high-pressure environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of PMV and heavy plant machinery.
• Safety Compliance: Familiarity with HSE regulations in Oil & Gas Construction.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making for operational challenges.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in plant/PMV operations, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Certifications in safety management or equipment operation (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.

Work Environment & Benefits

The role is based in Doha, Qatar (Old Airport area), with a standard 48-hour workweek. Candidates must be willing to work in challenging outdoor conditions typical of Oil & Gas Construction sites.
