Job Summary
Master Overseas Consultants is seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician to join our maintenance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of plumbing systems within our poultry and hatchery facilities. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation, preferably in an industrial or agricultural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipelines, valves, pumps, and water distribution systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues to minimize downtime in production facilities.
- Install and upgrade plumbing fixtures and equipment in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance on plumbing infrastructure.
- Ensure all plumbing work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
- Document maintenance activities and provide reports on plumbing system conditions.
- Respond to emergency plumbing repairs in a timely manner.
- Assist in the procurement of plumbing materials and tools as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Diploma or Graduation in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Plumbing Technician in industrial or agricultural settings.
- Prior experience in poultry, hatchery, or food processing facilities is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with water supply and drainage systems in large facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment
This position is on-site at our poultry/hatchery facility in Al Batha, Riyadh. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to machinery, live poultry, and varying temperatures. The role may require occasional overtime or emergency call-outs.
