PMC - Mechanical Engineer (FG01706)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time position within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) sector of the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, project execution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

With a competitive salary range of 15-20 LPA, this role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review mechanical design specifications and drawings for Oil & Gas projects.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME, API, ANSI) and client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, procurement documentation, and project progress updates.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support during construction and operational phases.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record in mechanical design, project management, and PMC roles.
• Experience with piping, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and engineering simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, and other relevant standards.
• Familiarity with project management software (Primavera, MS Project).

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) roles.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s Oil & Gas regulations and standards.
• Certifications in mechanical engineering or project management (PMP, PE).
