Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for materials and services required in Oil & Gas projects.
- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order issuance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and international procurement standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines.
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate and qualify vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely material availability.
- Resolve procurement-related disputes and discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate periodic reports for senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in procurement planning and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Experience with contract management and negotiation.
- Understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI).
- Familiarity with international procurement laws and trade compliance.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education & Certifications
