Job Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer at Delhi Overseas, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient manufacturing processes while maintaining high-quality standards. Key duties include:
- Overseeing daily production operations to meet output targets.
- Implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Monitoring equipment performance and conducting preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Logistics).
- Training and mentoring junior staff on best manufacturing practices.
- Preparing production reports and analyzing key performance metrics.
- Assisting in new product development and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and process optimization.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards.
Education & Experience
- Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in equipment maintenance is mandatory.
- Certification in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
