Production Supervisor / Shift Supervisor

Job Overview

Unimech is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor / Shift Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations in our aerospace production facility. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore for candidates with 0-1 year of experience in leadership within the aerospace or manufacturing sector.

As a key member of our team, you will ensure production efficiency, quality control, and safety compliance while leading a team of operators on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Monitor shift performance, including productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Train and mentor production staff to uphold safety and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, logistics) to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate shift reports.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• 0-1 year of experience in a supervisory role within aerospace or manufacturing.
• Freshers with strong leadership aptitude may apply.

Skills & Competencies

• Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making to address production challenges.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a factory environment.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (day/night).
