Project Controls Engineer

About the Role

ASTTAR is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team in the Oil & Gas sector. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offers a competitive salary range of 10-15 LPA and an opportunity to work on high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and financial performance.
• Utilize project management software to track milestones and deliverables.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support contract administration and vendor management processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

• Doctorate in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in project controls, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices.
