Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector. This role involves managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee mechanical engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, including project reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
- Perform mechanical system troubleshooting and optimization.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
- Proven track record of managing small to medium-scale projects.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, ISO).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
