As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support to the project team.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, drawings, and contracts.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients and maintain strong communication to ensure project requirements are met.
- Utilize project management software to track milestones and deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and other project management tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Certifications: PMP or similar project management certifications are a plus.
