Project Engineer – Rubber Products

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Rubber Products to join our dynamic engineering department in Muscat, Oman. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee rubber product manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct material testing, quality control, and process optimization for rubber products.
• Prepare technical documentation, including project plans, specifications, and reports.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in rubber compounding and production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality rubber materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Graduation/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Rubber Technology).
• Experience: 3-5 years in the rubber manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of rubber materials, compounding, and processing techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Hands-on experience with rubber molding, extrusion, or vulcanization processes.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based in Al ‘Amarat, Muscat, Oman, and requires on-site presence. The position involves working in a manufacturing facility with exposure to industrial equipment and processes. Safety protocols and PPE compliance are mandatory.
