We are seeking a highly skilled PTW – Instrumentation professional to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instrumentation within the Oil & Gas Construction sector, with a strong understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage instrumentation activities in compliance with PTW procedures.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to plan and execute instrumentation projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for instrumentation tasks.
• Monitor and maintain instrumentation systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues.
• Train and mentor junior team members on PTW and instrumentation best practices.
• Prepare and review documentation, including work permits, safety checklists, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Utilize machine learning techniques to optimize instrumentation processes where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in instrumentation within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in instrumentation (preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Education & Certifications:

• Graduation or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in PTW, HSE, or instrumentation are a plus.
