Job Summary

The Public Area Attendant (Casual) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of public areas within the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure all areas meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
• Restock supplies such as hand towels, soap, and toilet paper in public restrooms.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Interact with guests professionally and address any immediate cleaning concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy items.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in maintenance or public area cleaning (training provided).
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.

Education Level

Doctorate (or equivalent experience in a related field is acceptable).

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Diriyah, Riyadh. The Public Area Attendant will work in various public spaces within the hotel, requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting. Flexible scheduling may be required, including weekends and holidays.
