Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our Service and Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pump systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance within the Oil & Gas industry. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various types of pumps to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in pump systems including centrifugal, submersible, and reciprocating pumps.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble pump components such as seals, bearings, impellers, and casings.
• Test and calibrate pumps to meet industry and operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Operate hand and power tools, measurement instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Assist in installation, alignment, and commissioning of new pump systems.
• Report equipment deficiencies and recommend improvements.

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring work in industrial settings. Candidates must be comfortable working in oilfield, refinery, or construction environments with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Pump Mechanic, Pump Technician, or similar role in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various pump systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, hydraulics, and lubrication systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications in pump maintenance or mechanical trades (preferred).
