Job Description: QA/QC Engineers (Oil & Gas Industry)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to quality standards in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in valve calibration, quality assurance, and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for projects in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
• Conduct valve calibration and troubleshooting in line with project requirements.
• Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports and test certificates.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain records of quality audits, non-conformities, and corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO, API, and ASME.
• Train and mentor junior staff on QA/QC best practices.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
• Proven expertise in valve calibration and quality control processes.
• Certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) or relevant industry standards is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with inspection tools and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, API, ASME, and other industry quality standards.
• Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
• Proficiency in QA/QC documentation and reporting.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require occasional travel to project sites within the region. The work environment involves exposure to industrial settings, adhering to strict safety protocols.
