QA/QC Inspector (Onshore Project)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector (Onshore Project) to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, processes, and products meet the required quality standards. This role is critical for maintaining compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welding, piping, and structural components.
• Review and verify inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during inspections.
• Monitor non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and verify results.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and field personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

• Graduation or Diploma in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial preferred).

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably on onshore projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, ASTM, and ISO.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and NDT methods (e.g., UT, RT, MPI, LPI).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and inspection techniques.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation.

Soft Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

• This is an onsite role (not remote) based in Doha, Qatar.
• Work may involve exposure to outdoor environments and construction sites.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
