QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Instrumentation

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Instrumentation to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in quality control and instrumentation inspection, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This role is based in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires hands-on expertise in inspecting and supervising instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of instrumentation systems, including control valves, transmitters, and pressure gauges, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities for instrumentation projects, including calibration, testing, and commissioning.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), ensuring adherence to project requirements.
• Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality control procedures and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation, ensuring traceability and accountability.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all instrumentation systems meet safety, reliability, and performance standards before deployment.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Graduation or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC inspection within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven expertise in inspecting and supervising instrumentation systems, including control loops, PLCs, and DCS.
• Familiarity with international standards such as API, ISO, ASME, and IEC.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
