Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Material to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes in the Oil & Gas industry. Key Responsibilities

As a QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Material, you will ensure compliance with quality standards while supervising inspection activities. Key duties include:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Supervise and guide QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Implement quality control procedures per ISO, API, ASTM, and ASME standards.
  • Review and approve material test certificates, inspection reports, and compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify process improvements.
  • Train junior inspectors on quality protocols and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for traceability and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure workplace safety in line with HSE policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education & Certification

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Certifications in QA/QC, Welding Inspection (CSWIP/ASNT), or NDT preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, API Q1, and ASME Section IX standards.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in material inspection within Oil & Gas.
  • Proven track record in supervising inspection teams.
  • Hands-on expertise with UT, RT, PT, MT, and PMI testing.
  • Experience with piping, pressure vessels, and structural materials.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in QC software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented with high organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Work Environment

This role requires onsite presence in Diriyah, Riyadh, with exposure to industrial settings. Candidates should be prepared for:

  • Fieldwork in refineries, pipelines, or fabrication yards.
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols in hazardous environments.
  • Occasional overtime or shift work to meet project deadlines.
