QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Painting & Coating

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor specializing in Painting & Coating to join our Quality Control team in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a critical role ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and quality assurance protocols in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in inspection and supervision within coating and painting applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of painting and coating works to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities for surface preparation, application, and curing of coatings.
• Review and approve material certifications, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects, adhesion failures, or coating inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation for audits and project reviews.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors and contractors on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven expertise in painting and coating inspection (e.g., NACE, SSPC, or equivalent certifications preferred).
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 8501, ASTM, and API.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools (e.g., DFT gauges, adhesion testers, hygrometers).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Prior supervisory experience in painting/coating applications is a must.

Work Location
