Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Procurement to join our Quality Control team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in inspection, procurement quality assurance, and quality control processes. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while overseeing procurement-related inspections and quality checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of procured materials, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities related to procurement, including vendor inspections and material testing.
- Review and verify supplier documentation, including material certificates, test reports, and compliance records.
- Identify and report non-conformities, defects, or deviations from specifications and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to ensure quality requirements are met during material selection.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and quality control documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, ASTM, API, and ASME.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors and team members on best practices in quality control.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits to assess adherence to quality agreements.
- Assist in the development and improvement of QA/QC procedures for procurement processes.
Required Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Graduation/Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Control/Quality Assurance (e.g., CQI, IRCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards (API, ASME, ISO 9001).
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection with a focus on procurement.
- Strong knowledge of material testing, inspection techniques, and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
This position is onsite and located in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working in both office and field settings, including visits to supplier sites, warehouses, and project locations. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to strict safety protocols and travel as required.
