QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Scaffolding

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Inspector & Supervisor – Scaffolding to join our Quality Control team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of scaffolding systems in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding inspection, quality assurance, and team supervision.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of industry standards and safety regulations. The successful candidate will oversee scaffolding inspections, ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols, and supervise a team of inspectors to maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Supervise and mentor a team of QA/QC inspectors, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for scaffolding projects.
• Review and approve scaffolding designs, materials, and installation processes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure all scaffolding work adheres to company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures to prevent workplace accidents.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and best practices in scaffolding and quality control.

Requirements

Education

• Graduation or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection, specifically in scaffolding within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience supervising inspection teams and managing quality control processes.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards (e.g., OSHA, BS EN 12811, and local regulations).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Certification in scaffolding inspection (e.g., CISRS, OSHA Scaffolding Competent Person) is a plus.
