Job Description

The QA/QC Lead will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for engineering and construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while leading a team of QA/QC professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QA/QC management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Lead and manage a team of QA/QC inspectors, engineers, and technicians.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
• Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance and conduct vendor evaluations.
• Prepare and present QA/QC reports to senior management and clients.
• Ensure all testing and calibration activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior QA/QC staff.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality assurance and control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards and practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience with ISO 9001, API, ASME, ASTM, and other relevant industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience

• Post-Graduation in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC roles within the Oil & Gas or Engineering sectors.
• Certifications such as CQI/IRCA Lead Auditor, NDT Level II, or equivalent are a plus.
