Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled QA / QC Supervisor – Static to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes in our Oil & Gas operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC standards, with a strong background in static equipment inspection and compliance. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and reliability of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage QA/QC activities related to static equipment, including pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks.
- Ensure compliance with international QA/QC standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to verify quality adherence.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Train and mentor junior QA/QC personnel.
- Monitor and enforce safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and best practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in inspecting static equipment (vessels, piping, tanks).
- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods (UT, RT, MT, PT).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a QA/QC Supervisor role within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Certifications such as CSWIP, AWS, or ASNT Level II are preferred.
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working in both office and field environments, with occasional travel to project sites. Candidates must be prepared to work in challenging conditions while adhering to strict safety protocols.
