Hamdan Global, a prominent leader in the Oil & Gas sector, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC E & I Supervisor to join our dynamic Quality Control department in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal Full Time role is designed for a dedicated professional with 5-10 Years of hands-on experience in enforcing stringent QA/QC Standards for electrical and instrumentation systems. Key Responsibilities & Duties
As our QC E & I Supervisor, you will be entrusted with a wide range of critical tasks that are essential to the successful delivery of our projects. Your primary focus will be on overseeing all electrical and instrumentation quality control activities, ensuring they meet both internal and international standards.
- Lead and manage all day-to-day quality control inspections and activities for electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and panels.
- Develop, implement, and rigorously maintain comprehensive QA/QC procedures, checklists, and documentation protocols specific to E & I works.
- Conduct thorough incoming inspections of all electrical materials, instruments, equipment, and components to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Perform systematic in-process and final inspections during installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of all E & I systems.
- Supervise and witness all electrical tests (e.g., Megger, Hi-Pot, continuity) and loop checks for instrumentation, ensuring accurate documentation of results.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformities, defects, or deviations from project specifications; initiate and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Liaise closely with clients, third-party inspection agencies, and consultants to facilitate inspections and secure necessary approvals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QC inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality control documentation submitted by contractors.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with project safety plans, quality plans, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, logs, and reports for all E & I activities, providing timely updates to the Quality Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this challenging and rewarding QC E & I Supervisor role within the Oil & Gas industry, the successful candidate must possess a strong combination of education, technical skills, and proven experience.
Education & Certification
- A Graduation/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory.
- Certifications in relevant QA/QC disciplines (e.g., ISO 9001, Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
- Professional certifications from recognized bodies in NDT or inspection fields are a significant advantage.
Experience & Technical Skills
- A solid 5-10 Years of progressive experience in a QC E & I Supervisor or similar leadership role, specifically within the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
- Deep, practical knowledge of international codes and standards such as IEC, ISA, IEEE, NEC, API, and ANSI.
- Expertise in interpreting technical drawings, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Proven hands-on experience with inspection and testing of transformers, switchgears, motors, cabling, grounding systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments.
- Strong background in managing and resolving non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implementing effective corrective actions.
