Key Responsibilities

As a QC Inspector – Mech, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of mechanical quality control and compliance with project specifications. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting inspections of mechanical components, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Performing visual, dimensional, and functional tests on mechanical installations.
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control procedures.
  • Identifying defects, non-conformities, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintaining detailed inspection records and preparing quality reports.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and quality assurance procedures.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in Quality Control or Mechanical Inspections (e.g., ASME, AWS, API) are a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to inspections and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following additional qualifications will be given preference:

  • Experience working on ARAMCO projects or similar large-scale Oil & Gas ventures.
  • Knowledge of international standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with quality management software and tools.

Work Environment

This position is based in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires on-site presence. The role involves working in challenging environments typical of the Oil & Gas industry, including exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and hazardous materials. Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
