Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are Aerospace Manufacturing Company, a leading name in precision aerospace components, seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Operations team in Whitefield, Bangalore. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance for aerospace manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in quality inspection within the manufacturing industry, particularly in aerospace or related high-precision sectors. A Doctorate in a relevant field is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
• Perform precise measurements using advanced metrology tools such as CMMs, micrometers, and calipers.
• Document and report non-conformities, defects, and deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality control processes.
• Ensure all quality inspections adhere to ISO, AS9100, and other aerospace regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results and generate quality assurance reports.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection within aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools (CMM, optical comparators, micrometers).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
