Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quant Analyst to join our Engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making in the food trading and supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative models to analyze trading strategies and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency using data-driven insights.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct statistical analysis and risk assessments to support trading decisions.
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quantitative analysis.
• Support the Engineering team in automating data processes and improving analytical tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and algorithmic trading.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning/transformation.

• Strong communication skills to present complex ideas clearly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Educational Requirements

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques for predictive modeling.
