Quantity Surveyor (QA Department)

Job Overview

Multilink Management Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quantity Surveyor for our Quality Assurance (QA) Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in the Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction sectors, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and accurate project budgeting. Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting cost estimation and budget analysis for construction and engineering projects.
• Preparing and evaluating tender documents, contracts, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
• Monitoring project expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors to assess material and labor costs.
• Performing risk assessment and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Reviewing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and procurement agreements.
• Ensuring adherence to QA/QC standards and regulatory requirements in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Providing detailed reports on cost variances and project financial performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, or similar).
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and contract management.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Graduation/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in Oil & Gas or Construction.
• Certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus.
