Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled R&I Technician with 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refining and inspection (R&I) equipment while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair R&I equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to refining and inspection systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Provide technical support during field operations and emergencies.
• Train junior technicians on equipment handling and safety procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in R&I equipment installation and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.

Education and Experience

• Doctorate in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Certifications in equipment handling or safety protocols are a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The role is based in Kuwait City, Al Asimah, and requires on-site presence (no remote work). The job may involve working in challenging environments, including outdoor locations and varying weather conditions. Candidates must be prepared for occasional overtime and emergency call-outs.
