About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rig Move Crane Operator to join our Operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in heavy lifting and rig move operations within the oil & gas construction industry. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and expertise in handling large-scale equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy equipment during rig move operations.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections to ensure crane functionality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with rig move supervisors and ground crews to execute lifting plans safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations to minimize risks.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and report any malfunctions.
• Assist in rig assembly and disassembly, ensuring smooth transitions between job sites.
• Adhere to load charts and rigging techniques to prevent accidents.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Doctorate in a relevant engineering or technical field is preferred.
• Valid crane operator certification from an accredited institution.
• OSHA or equivalent safety training certification.

Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a crane operator in the oil & gas or construction sector.
• Proven track record in heavy lifting and rig move operations.
• Familiarity with rigging practices and load management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and load charts.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
