Key Responsibilities

The Rig Move Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing rig relocation activities while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational efficiency. Key duties include:

Operational Management

• Plan and oversee all aspects of rig move operations, including site preparation, transportation, and rig setup.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of rig moves.
• Monitor equipment and personnel performance to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for rig move activities.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and industry regulations.
• Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks for crew members before and during rig move operations.
• Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and non-compliance issues.
• Ensure all rig move activities meet company and international safety standards.

Team Leadership

• Supervise rig move crews, subcontractors, and third-party service providers.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff to enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of rig move activities, including daily logs, equipment inspections, and incident reports.
• Generate post-move reports summarizing key performance metrics and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
