Key Responsibilities

As a Rigger – 3, you will play a critical role in the construction and maintenance of Oil & Gas facilities. Your duties will include:

• Planning and executing rigging operations to lift, move, and position heavy equipment and materials safely.
• Inspecting and maintaining rigging gear, including slings, shackles, and hoists, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborating with engineers, crane operators, and construction teams to coordinate lifts and avoid hazards.
• Following strict safety protocols and industry regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Calculating load weights and ensuring proper rigging techniques are applied for stability and balance.
• Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of heavy machinery and structures.
• Documenting rigging activities and reporting any issues or defects in equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on rigging experience in the Oil & Gas or construction industry.
• Education: Graduation or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using rigging tools, cranes, and hoisting equipment.
• Safety Certifications: Familiarity with OSHA or equivalent safety standards is preferred.
