Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in rigging and construction, along with a TUV certification to ensure compliance with industry safety standards.

As a Rigger, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining rigging equipment, ensuring safe lifting and movement of heavy materials, and collaborating with construction and engineering teams to execute projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The Rigger (With TUV) will perform the following duties:

• Inspect, prepare, and set up rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, and hoists, to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Operate cranes, winches, and other lifting machinery under supervision to move heavy materials and equipment.
• Follow rigging safety protocols and comply with TUV standards to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
• Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and project managers to plan and execute lifting operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot rigging issues on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, load calculations, and safety checks.
• Train and mentor junior riggers on proper techniques and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rigging and construction, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven track record of working with heavy lifting machinery and rigging equipment.

Certifications

• Valid TUV certification for rigging operations.
• Additional safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of rigging principles, load calculations, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in operating cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

The role involves working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, primarily on Oil & Gas sites with exposure to outdoor and industrial conditions. The candidate must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions and adhere to strict safety measures.
