Job Description

Goodwill Global Consultancy (SKD Group) is seeking skilled Riggers to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in rigging, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling heavy equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and supporting maintenance operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle rigging equipment such as cables, ropes, pulleys, and winches.
• Lift, move, and position heavy machinery and materials safely.
• Inspect rigging hardware and tools for defects before use.
• Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents.
• Coordinate with crane operators and other team members.
• Assist in maintaining and storing rigging equipment properly.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Higher Secondary education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in rigging within Oil & Gas, Engineering & Construction, or related industries.
• Familiarity with rigging tools, knots, and load calculations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of rigging safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and load charts.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions

• On-site role in Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi.
• Exposure to outdoor and industrial environments.
• Shift-based work, including weekends if required.
