Riggers - Oil & Gas Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Riggers to join our Welding & Fabrication team in the Oil & Gas Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rigging, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards. This is a full-time position based in Al Murabba, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rigging operations to lift, move, and position heavy machinery, equipment, and materials safely.
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with crane operators, welders, and other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and load charts to determine rigging requirements.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to minimize workplace hazards.
• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of rigging equipment on-site.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings to stay updated on project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Certification

• ITI certification or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Certification in rigging or heavy equipment operation is preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Rigger in the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Proficiency in using rigging tools such as slings, shackles, and hoists.
• Familiarity with load calculations and weight distribution techniques.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety standards.

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Rotational shifts may be required, including weekends and holidays.
