Job Description: Rigging Supervisors

About the Role

Multilink Management Consultants is seeking skilled Rigging Supervisors to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in overseeing rigging and construction operations within the Oil & Gas and Engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in rigging, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage on-site teams efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate rigging and lifting operations on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Inspect rigging equipment and materials for functionality and safety.
• Train and mentor junior rigging personnel.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure seamless workflow.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Report hazards, incidents, and equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging operations and inspections.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for material and equipment transportation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in rigging, lifting, and construction operations.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment, tools, and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with OSHA or equivalent safety standards.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or Graduation in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant certification in Rigging or Lifting Operations is a plus.

Experience Level

The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in rigging and construction, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Engineering sectors.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Diriyah, Riyadh. The job may require working in varying weather conditions and extended hours, depending on project demands.
