About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Roll Shop Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time position within the manufacturing industry, reporting to the Sales Operations department. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in roll shop operations and a strong background in operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

As a Roll Shop Supervisor, your primary duties will include:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the roll shop to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Planning and coordinating roll shop activities to meet production targets.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in all roll shop processes.
• Managing inventory levels of rolls and related materials to minimize downtime.
• Training and supervising roll shop staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Conducting regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintaining accurate records of roll shop activities, including repairs and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education Level: ITI certification or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in roll shop operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operational planning, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and roll shop best practices.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills will be advantageous:

• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH).
