Safety Engineers – Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry

Job Overview

Aman International HR Consultant is seeking experienced Safety Engineers to join our Engineering department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring workplace safety compliance in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety protocol enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Safety Engineer, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits in Oil & Gas facilities.
• Developing and implementing HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies to comply with Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Investigating workplace incidents and recommending corrective actions.
• Training employees on safety awareness, emergency response, and PPE usage.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other safety standards.
• Preparing safety reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Collaborating with project managers to integrate safety measures into operational plans.
• Monitoring hazardous materials handling and waste disposal procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven expertise in safety engineering within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sector.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical skills for hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in safety management software (e.g., SAP EHS, Intelex).
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Education & Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in safety compliance within Oil & Gas.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CSP are preferred.
