Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer with 5-10 years of expertise in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Provide safety training to employees, including emergency response drills.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and international HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Investigate workplace accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation for regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with management to promote safety awareness and initiatives.
• Monitor and report safety performance metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices.
• Strong risk assessment and hazard identification abilities.
• Proficiency in safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, NEBOSH).
• Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Education & Experience:

• Doctorate in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the manufacturing industry.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.
