About the Role

Aman International HR Consultant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international HSE standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace inspections.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor hazardous activities and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain documentation for compliance purposes.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Expertise in risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Experience in conducting safety training and emergency response drills.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

• Graduation/Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• 5-10 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's HSE laws and regulations is a plus.
