Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and promote a culture of safety within the workplace. This role is crucial for maintaining safe operations in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments in Oil & Gas and Construction environments.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Train employees on safety awareness, emergency protocols, and proper use of PPE.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with management to develop safety strategies and emergency response plans.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Ensure all safety equipment is functional and accessible.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation or Diploma in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas or Construction.
• Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or IOSH is a plus.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian safety regulations is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Diriyah, Riyadh. The position requires frequent site visits and occasional work in challenging conditions, including outdoor environments and construction sites. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to strict safety protocols and work flexible hours when necessary.
