Job Overview
Our Facility Management Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures in line with KSA regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments at facility sites.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated with changes in KSA safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and communication.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
- Graduation or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience:
- 0-1 year of experience in a safety-related role (internships or training programs included).
- Freshers with a strong interest in HSE careers are welcome to apply.
Skills:
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of facility management safety standards.
- Ability to conduct inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for training and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
- Willingness to work on-site in Irqah, Riyadh.
