Key Responsibilities and Daily Duties
As a Safety Supervisor with ITL, your primary mission is to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses. You will be the frontline defender of our most valuable assets: our people and our facilities. Your day-to-day activities will be diverse and impactful, requiring a proactive approach to hazard control and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Conduct comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and audits of worksites, equipment, and operational procedures to ensure strict compliance with company HSE policies and Saudi Arabian regulatory standards.
- Lead the investigation of all incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to avoid recurrence.
- Develop, deliver, and track engaging safety training programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors, focusing on high-risk activities common in oil and gas operations, such as working at height, confined space entry, and hot work permits.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all HSE activities, including inspection reports, incident logs, training certificates, and safety meeting minutes, ensuring they are always audit-ready.
- Perform rigorous risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA) for new and ongoing projects, recommending practical and effective control measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Ensure all emergency response equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and eyewash stations, is routinely inspected, properly maintained, and fully functional.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related concerns, promoting an open-door policy where employees feel empowered to report unsafe conditions without fear of reprisal.
- Champion the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), conducting fit tests and monitoring enforcement to guarantee 100% compliance across the site.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and frontline supervisors to integrate safety into every phase of project planning and execution.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Requirements
