Sales Estimator – Oil & Gas Construction

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas Construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, analyzing bid specifications, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies to maximize profitability. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in estimation & costing within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for Oil & Gas Construction projects.
• Bid Analysis: Review bid specifications, drawings, and other documentation to assess project requirements.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and ensure competitive bids.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and cost variances in project estimations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to refine estimates and ensure feasibility.
• Compliance: Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
• Reporting: Present estimates and cost breakdowns to senior management for approval.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Graduation/Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in estimation & costing within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Proven track record of preparing accurate and competitive project estimates.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CostX, WinEst, or similar tools).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and project management software.
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM software for project visualization.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
