Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sand Blasting Operator to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in surface preparation and spray painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, roughen, or shape surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by removing rust, old paint, or other contaminants.
• Ensure proper masking and protection of surfaces not requiring treatment.
• Monitor equipment for wear and tear, reporting any malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and consistency.
• Assist in mixing and applying paints or coatings when required.
• Document work performed and materials used.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in sandblasting techniques and surface preparation.
• Experience with spray painting and coating applications.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance).
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Sand Blasting Operator or similar role.
• Certification in industrial safety or sandblasting (preferred).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The role involves working in an industrial setting with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. Candidates must be physically fit to:

• Stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).
• Wear protective gear, including respirators and goggles.
• Work in confined spaces if required.
