Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to determine appropriate scaffolding configurations for different construction phases
- Conducting thorough inspections of scaffolding components before assembly to identify any defects or damage that could compromise structural integrity
- Ensuring all scaffolding structures are properly braced, tied, and secured to withstand intended loads and environmental conditions
- Implementing comprehensive safety measures including proper installation of toe boards, guard rails, and debris netting to protect workers and the public
- Performing daily safety checks on erected scaffolding and documenting inspection results in accordance with company protocols and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating closely with site supervisors, construction managers, and other tradespeople to coordinate scaffolding activities with overall project timelines
- Adapting scaffolding solutions to accommodate unique site conditions and specific project requirements while maintaining structural safety
